Linda Ann Peters, 74, of Lakeview, passed away Monday morning, Aug. 26, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Columbus on June 7, 1939, to the late James H. and Mary Penrod Warner. She also was preceded in death by her stepmother, Ersula Warner; sister, Barbara Jane Sylvester; and a brother, James Penrod Warner.
On July 29, 1961, Linda married Gerald Peters in Columbus and he survives in Lakeview, along with children, Christopher Vincent (Linda H.) Peters of Middleberg, Pa., Timothy Stanley James (Judy D.) Peters of Evansville, Ind., and Adele Jerrilyn (Thomas V.) Corsi of Columbus; grandson, Benjamin Oscar Pietruszyka Peters; brothers, Michael Warner of Columbus, Steven Warner of Philo and David Warner of Grove City; sisters, Laura Holland of Hebron and Lisa Warner of Grove City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was Catholic and enjoyed reading, crafts and working her puzzle books. She had worked in the office at Holloway Sportswear and was a member of the Indian Lake Eagles 3615 Ladies Auxiliary more than 30 years.
Visitation is two hours prior to a funeral at noon Saturday at the Myron Van Horn Chapel of Smith-Eichholtz Funeral Home, Lakeview, with Fr. Jim Russell officiating. Burial is in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Eagles 3615 Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship Fund.
