Richard G. Clingerman, 80, who was born and grew up in Bellefontaine along Park Street in a large loving family, died March 23, 2012.
Richard loved his five children, Nita Michael, Lynda, David, James and Anthony, his 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends.
Richard supported his family as a salesman, mostly in printing.
He loved spending time with people, especially his loved-ones, and reading, especially the Bible. He became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1992.
He is most remembered for his tender-hearted kindness, humor, and the forward-looking way he focused on the good in people.
Richard’s ashes will be interred in the grave next to his Jacquie at 2 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Cemetery, Bellefontaine.
