Charlotte Katherine Clary, 85, of Bellefontaine, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, slipped away peacefully to the Lord at her home Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013.

Charlotte Clary was born on Dec. 13, 1927, a daughter of the late Roy and Annabelle Woods.

In 1950, she married her sweetheart, John R. Clary. She was preceded in death by her husband and seven brothers.

Survivors include daughter, Linda (Ron) Wise; son, John (Marie) Clary; daughter, Patty (Tim) Sweeney; grandchildren, Zack (Misty) Clary, John Robert Clary and Katherine Nicole Sweeney; and great-grandchildren, Ryelee, Ayden and Abby Clary.

A homemaker and caregiver, she adored gardening and being surrounded by flowers. She enjoyed attending the summer community concerts.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids, and will be greatly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions be made to the Universal Home Health & Hospice Care, 701 S. Main St., Bellefontaine 43311.

Arrangements were handled by Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where condolences may be expressed at www.edsfh.com.

My Grandmother

In my Rose Garden of memories

I see you standing there

An angel in disguise

Who taught me how to care

I long to hear your voice

for real not in my dreams

I am missing you so much these days

how empty my world seems

People say time heals all wounds

that someday the pain will subside

But Grandma I can tell you

I think they must have lied

The emptiness I am feeling now

is strong and I am weak

These days go by without you

so dreary and so bleak

In my Rose Garden of memories

I know you'll always be

for though you're gone

from this mortal world

In my heart you'll always be

Zach, John Robert, Katie, Ryelee, Ayden and Abby
