Pearl Maxine Hudson, 93, of Bellefontaine, slipped away peacefully to be with the Lord Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at her home.
She was born April 5, 1920, a daughter of the late John and Anna Stinson.
In 1942, she married Stanley L. Hudson and he preceded her in death, along with a son, Stanley “Sonny” Hudson Jr.; grandsons, Jeff and Trevor Hudson; and brothers, Ralph and Bill Stinson, as well as many other family members.
Survivors include daughter, DeAnn (Charlie) Hoge; son, Fred (Vicki) Hudson; daughter, Jeanne (Mike) Hall; grandchildren, LeAnn (Adam) Taylor, Ryan (Julie) Smith, Dawn (Doug) Yoder, Bradley Hudson, Kristie (Gary) Knox, Lindsey Hudson, Mark (Mandy) Hudson, Devin Hudson, Eric (Nicole) Hall, Lisa Hudson, Emily Hudson, Dan Defibaugh and Katie (Derick) Organ; several nieces and nephews; and 27 great-grandchildren.
A member of the First Church of God in Bellefontaine, Pearl was a homemaker, an avid reader, and loved to take rides and day trips.
She loved spending time with her family and friends, immensely enjoyed her grandkids, and will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. until a funeral at 4 p.m. Sunday at Jennings Farley Funeral Home, West Liberty. Graveside committal is at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
