Charles Edward Ramsey, 77, of Mt. Victory, died at 9:43 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Logan County on July 5, 1936, to the late Foster and Norma Smith Ramsey. He was preceded in death by a son, Tracy.
On June 15, 1958, he married Joyce Ruhl and she survives in Mt. Victory, along with a son, Tom (Luciana) Ramsey of Columbus; two grandchildren Gabrielle and Spencer; two brothers, Jim (Barb) Ramsey of Mt. Victory and Philip (Judy) Ramsey of Ridgeway; and a sister, Phyllis (Ed) Perkins of Kenton.
He worked for Walton Farms from 1958 to 1969 and then for Creviston Implement and Wyandot Tractor, retiring in 2004 after 35 years. Charles was a member of the First Church of God in Ridgeway, Ridgemont Community Service Club, Thorns and Roses Garden Club and the former Mt. Victory Lions Club.
Pastor John Davis officiates a service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Mt. Victory, where visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial is in Hale Cemetery.
