Troy E. Meyer, 42, of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday evening, June 6, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Cincinnati to George Herman and Rebecca “Becky” Harrison Meyer on Aug. 14, 1970. He was preceded in death by his father George on Dec. 17, 2008.
He worked as a truck driver and collected 1:64 scale model cars, trucks, semis and trains. He loved listening to music, especially Tiesto — Search of Sunrise 4.
Survivors include his mother, Becky Meyer of Bellefontaine; his wife, Sarah Wilson Meyer; son, Troy Andrew “Drew” Meyer of Bellefontaine; daughter, Sophia Rose Meyer of Newark; brother, Kent (Yun Song) Meyer of Ellicott City, Md.; close friend, Tom V. Ropelenski of Strongsville; and a nephew, Hayden Meyer.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine, where a funeral begins at 11 a.m. Monday with Fr. Patrick Sheridan officiating.
Burial is in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
