Lois A. Mann, 82, of Jackson Center, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, in Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
She was born Nov. 2, 1930, a daughter of the late Clarence E. and Katherine Ludwig Gerber. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Gerber; and a grandchild, Bailey Mann.
On Jan. 30, 1948, she married Don Mann in Jackson Center and he survives, along with their son, Jeff Mann of Sidney; grandchildren, Tisha Mann Nichols and Clinton, Curtis and Jacob Mann; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Tayler Nichols and Ashlin, McKenzie and Carly Mann.
A lifelong resident of Jackson Center and member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Jackson Center, she worked 16 years as a bookkeeper for Landmark and then for Airstream for 17 years. After retiring, she volunteered at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney, and mentored kindergarten students at Jackson Center Elementary School.
Pastor Kent Hollis officiates a funeral at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, Jackson Center, where visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the funeral Wednesday. Burial is in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson.
