Ann Louise Miller Runkle, 63, of Kenton, formerly of Bellefontaine and Indian Lake, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, in the emergency room at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
She was born in Kenton on April 18, 1949, to the late Carl and Edna Mae Born Miller.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim (Chad) Argabright of Kenton; her sister, Sondra “Sonnie” (Robert) Abbott of Plain City; her brother, Jerry (Debbie) Miller of Kenton; several nieces and nephews; a special sister-in-law, Margee Leiss of Bellefontaine; and Jessica Ladow of Charlotte, N.C., a dear family friend whom Ann considered her second daughter.
A loving homemaker, Ann was a 1967 graduate of North Union High School. She possessed a sometimes feisty attitude, but underneath her rough exterior, she held a genuine concern for the well-being of others.
She enjoyed reading and playing cards, and loved to laugh and spend time with her family. She will be missed tremendously, but her family finds great comfort in knowing she is reunited with her parents and her husband.
The Rev. Hal Argabright officiates a funeral at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mannasmith Funeral Home, Marysville, where calling is two hours prior. Following cremation, burial is with her parents at Greenlawn Cemetery, West Mansfield. Memorial contributions may be made in care of Mannasmith Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
