Lucile M. Dickson, 94, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at CareChoice Nursing and Rehab in Boerne, Texas, from complications following a stroke.
Lucile was born in Zenith, W.Va., on Aug. 15, 1918, a daughter of H.O. McClung and Sadie Miller McClung.
In 1946, she married Ernest Lionel Dickson.
She is also survived by her sister, Mary Ann Ware of Bogart, Ga.; children, Becky Dickson Eterno of Boerne, Texas, and Wendell E. Dickson of Clarksville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Teresa Eterno Lehtinen and John L. Eterno, and great-granddaughter, Mia Grace Lehtinen, all of Arvada, Colo.
Lucile was an elementary school teacher in West Virginia and Bellefontaine for more than 40 years and alumna of Concord College (now Concord University), Athens, W.Va.
A graveside service is at 11 a.m. Friday at Crozier Cemetery, Zenith, W.Va.
