YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — An 18-year-old Ohio man is charged with aggravated murder and kidnapping in the stabbing death of a teenage girl whose body was found at a western Pennsylvania landfill.
Ricki D. Williams IV of Youngstown is being held without bond after a court hearing Wednesday in Mahoning County. Police expect more charges.
It's unclear if Williams has an attorney.
Sixteen-year-old Gina Burger of the Youngstown suburb of Austintown was reported missing by her mother June 23, about three hours after Burger left her apartment to borrow tea bags from someone. A worker found her body June 25 at a landfill 45 miles south of Pittsburgh.
Police say Williams knew Gina. They say he stabbed her in another apartment at the complex and placed her body in a nearby trash bin.
