MONTGOMERY, Ohio (AP) — Police in suburban Cincinnati are investigating why a hospital patient had a bag full of guns and other weapons.
Montgomery police have released little information on last week's incident in which they responded to a report of a patient threatening Bethesda North Hospital workers with a gun. No injuries were reported.
A police report shows officers seized a duffel bag with three pistols, bullets, bear attack deterrent spray and other items on Thursday night.
The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/1aHZ6eQ ) reports that police say the patient remains hospitalized. The patient's name wasn't released, and no other information was available immediately.
Police say they are consulting with the Hamilton County prosecutor's office about charges.
A message was left Tuesday for a hospital spokesman.
