DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in southwest Ohio say a 67-year-old driver crashed into the side of a suburban Dayton drugstore in the middle of the afternoon and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened Sunday afternoon when a vehicle in the parking lot of one drugstore accelerated over a curb, across a roadway and through the parking lot of a second drugstore, which it hit.
It's not clear why the vehicle accelerated or what caused the death of the man driving the vehicle. Authorities say he was unconscious when he was taken to the hospital. His name wasn't immediately released.
No other injuries were reported.
