Motorcyclist killed in Seneca County crash

TIFFIN, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that a 22-year-old motorcyclist has been killed in a crash involving two other vehicles.

The Patrol says Kurtis Morgan of Seaman, Ohio, was riding his Harley Davidson northbound in Seneca County on Ohio Route 53 about 6:43 p.m. Saturday when he struck an SUV from behind after it slowed down. Troopers say Morgan was thrown from his motorcycle into the southbound lane, where he was fatally struck by a pickup truck.

Troopers say he wasn't wearing a helmet and failed to maintain an assured clear distance.

The other drivers were not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
