CINCINNATI (AP) — Cincinnati police say a man drew and gun and fired a shot before he was shot and killed by an officer at a bar.
Police said 32-year-old Roger Ramundo struggled with officers who came to a Clifton bar on Wednesday afternoon on a report of an armed man with mental health issues.
The officers unsuccessfully tried to establish a rapport with the armed man, but he became combative. He fired a shot before one of the officers fired two shots at him.
The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/19iKzJS ) reports Ramundo was shot at least once and died later at a hospital.
One officer was being treated after being struck with a stun-gun barb.
