LOGAN, Ohio (AP) — A grand jury in southeast Ohio has indicted a couple after authorities said their 18-month-old daughter was seriously injured in a meth-lab spill.
Authorities said the child was 15 months old when she suffered second- and third-degree chemical burns while living with her parents in Logan in April. She spent two weeks in a Columbus hospital afterward.
The Logan Daily News (http://bit.ly/1asbAZU ) reports that the couple — 26-year-old Adam Taulbee and 24-year-old Angela Jordan — were indicted last week. Taulbee is serving prison time on an unrelated charge, and Jordan was arrested Tuesday.
They are charged with a felony count of endangering children. Details of their legal representation weren't available.
A witness said the child spilled a chemical into her diaper.
