CHARDON, Ohio (AP) — Three 2013 class members killed by a teenage gunman at their northeast Ohio high school will be remembered at graduation ceremonies.
Vases of flowers will be displayed at Saturday's Chardon High School graduation for the three victims, Daniel Parmertor, Russell King Jr. and Demetrius Hewlin.
Two students wounded on Feb. 27, 2012, will graduate with their class. A third wounded student graduated last year.
Gov. John Kasich (KAY'-sik) plans to deliver the commencement address. The ceremony will be held at the bigger Mentor fine arts center.
T.J. Lane has been sentenced to life in prison for the shooting rampage. He was at Chardon waiting for a bus to the alternative school he attended.
