Threats at Tippecanoe Middle School lead to reward offer

TIPP CITY, Ohio (AP) — Police want to know who left the latest threatening message in a bathroom stall at a western Ohio school, and are offering a $1,000 reward for information.

The threat was discovered in a boy's bathroom at Tippecanoe Middle School in Tipp City on Tuesday. Three times last week, threatening messages were found in bathroom stalls at the district's high school.

The Dayton Daily News reports that the latest threat led to an evacuation of the school so K-9 units from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base could search the building. Nothing dangerous or out of the ordinary was found.

Tipp City police Sgt. Chris Graham said a phone message went to parents offering a reward to anyone with information that leads to one or more arrests.
