Calvary Christian School students in grades 1-3 recently participated in a health fair presented by the Bellefontaine Fire Department and Mary Rutan Hospital.
Nancy Harmon hosted a session with “Billy Bones” to explain the different bones in the body and how to keep them healthy. Cari Yoder taught the importance of fitness through a whole body experience of rock, paper scissors.
Students toured the inside of an emergency squad with the Bellefontaine Fire Department firefighters Ben Kenndy and Bryce Goodrich. Healthy snacks were provided by Amy Jones, who explained the importance of vitamins and healthy food choices.
