D.A.R.E. grads

DARE-graduation

The Bellefontaine Police Department hosted a D.A.R.E. graduation  ceremony Monday evening for Calvary Christian School fifth-grade students. Pictured are, from the left, first row: students Chloe Brown, Kaitlyn Angus, Juliene Myers and Nate Aldo; and second row: Lt. Rick Herring, D.A.R.E. instructor and Police Officer Andy Kennedy and Chief Brandon Standley. Other pupils who were absent from the ceremony but will receive graduation certificates include Ella Studebaker, Montgomery Leach and Issac Dillon. The  D.A.R.E. program, also taught at Bellefontaine City Schools by Officer Kennedy, promotes students making good choices with friends and other issues that might arise in school and in their community.
