West Liberty-Salem High School has announced the members of its 2013 homecoming court. Pictured are, from the left, first row:  junior attendant Hayden Erwin, senior queen candidates: Carly Lowry, Taylor Day, Caty Shoemaker, Catherine Williams and Alyssa  Strickland; sophomore attendant Taylor LeVan and freshman attendant Olivia Ames; and second row: senior king candidates Kyle  Crawford, Jacob Rutan, Kelvin Shank, Layne Bowman and Logan Boggs. The school’s homecoming activities begin Thursday with  the homecoming parade through the village. The parade starts at 7 p.m. at the north end of Lions Park, and then turns west onto  Pickrelltown Road, south on Detroit Street, east on Baird Street and back to the park, where a bonfire and pep rally will take place.  The homecoming ceremony begins at 5:45 p.m. Friday at the stadium, prior to the start of the football game against Springfield  Catholic Central, with the king and queen crowned at the end of the ceremony.
