Western Intermediate School pupils in Ashley Reser’s and Lori Horn’s classrooms recently collected non-perishable food products as a part of their “Leader in Me” initiative, where one of the objectives is to “leave a legacy.”

These 35 students set a goal of collecting 200 cans in less than three weeks. They exceeded their goal, donating 226 food items to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
