Calvary Christian School students in grades K5 through 2 conducted their own “mock election” Tuesday after reading the book Duck for President. Upon arriving at the polls, the students gave their full names and birth dates to be eligible to receive a ballot. Students then entered the polling booths and marked their ballots for one of the four candidates: duck, pig, cow or sheep. After making their selections, the ballots were placed in a box, and then the results were tallied, with the duck declared as the winner. |
