Representatives from the Bellefontaine Fire Department, including puppet “Firefighter Phil,” recently visited with students at Calvary Christian School in grades K5 through 3 to talk about the importance of fire safety. Students Blake Wish and Hannah Marlow assisted with the presentation. Pupils also toured a Bellefontaine ladder truck. Several students also were named the winners of a poster contest with the Bellefontaine Fire Department: K-5 student KayLee Hurley, first-grader Madelyn Trittschuh, second-grader Brooklyn Horner and third-grader Emma Patton.
