The Bellefontaine office of Farm Credit Mid-America recently hosted a customer appreciation dinner at the Winner Harvest Barn, where guests were invited to donate school supplies for needy children at area schools.

In total, the Farm Credit team donated $200 worth of school supplies.

“We knew this was an important need because many rural children’s families in our three counties (Logan, Union and Hardin) are in need,” said Pati Stemble, financial support specialist. “Our guests were very generous. As soon as we get a chance, we’ll donate these to one school in each county.”

Also at the event, approximately 300 guests were treated to an Amish pork tenderloin dinner catered by Rosetta Burkholder. They also had the opportunity to visit with other Farm Credit customers and staff and get the latest association news, including the launch of a new brand strategy.

“This is the first time we’d used this venue, and we received several comments about what a great facility it was, and how much they enjoyed the meal, the program, and the whole evening,” Ms. Stemble said. “We look forward to these events every year because they give us an opportunity to thank our customers for their business and support during the past year.”

Senior Vice President Dick Poe was on hand for the evening and made a short presentation on the re-branding strategy, including showing a video featuring staff symbolically “putting a fresh coat of paint on the barn.”
