Russells Point asks residents to check for water problems

Because the Russells Point Waterworks is experiencing an unusual increase in water usage, residents of the village are asked to examine their properties and neighboring properties for suspicious pooling of water or sounds of running water to avoid the issuance of a water conservancy order.

Village officials note that a number of residences in the village are seasonal and the owners may not be aware there has been an issue stemming from the recent inclement weather and frigid temperatures.

Any such instances should be reported to Mayor Robin Reames at 843-2245, ext. 8. Leave a message with the property address and a contact number for the caller.
