Sidney police investigating shooting

SIDNEY — Sidney police were called at 12:49 p.m. Monday to investigate a shooting incident at the North Dixie Drive Thru, 2598 Wapakoneta Ave., where they found a male dead of an apparent self-inflicted gun wound.

The investigation is ongoing.

The mother of a man sentenced Monday in Logan County Common Pleas Court to a multi-year prison term told Judge Mark S. O’Connor that drugs have ruined the relationship with her son and that she no longer feels a connection to him.
