Hospital guild recognizes Verbsky for outstanding service

Judy-Verbsky

VERBSKY

The Mary Rutan Hospital Auxiliary Guild recognized Judy Verbsky for outstanding service to the organization during the recent winter membership meeting at Mary Rutan’s Crossroads Business Center.

At the meeting, she retired as the guild’s treasurer after a collective 18 years of service.

After joining the guild in 1969, Mrs. Verbsky stated she acted as treasurer “in the beginning for three or four years, and then for another four or so years in the 1980s.” More recently, she was responsible for the guild’s finances for the past 10 years.

Christie Barnes, volunteer coordinator, presented Mrs. Verbsky with a token gift of gratitude for her service, and described the retired treasurer as “wholly dedicated to the work of the organization and a true asset to the guild membership and Mary Rutan Hospital.”

Mrs. Verbsky continues to serve as a volunteer at the hospital in the gift shop and snack bar.
