Outstanding seniors in the spotlight

Senior volunteers who were honored Tuesday during the annual Logan County Senior Day Event at the Bellefontaine First Church of God have touched lives in a wide variety of ways. Some of their community activities include helping those in distress by serving on an emergency squad, playing music for hospice patients, guiding riders at a therapeutic horseback riding center, and assisting with blood drives.

Grand jury does not indict BMS teacher

A Logan County grand jury today declined to hand up an indictment charging a Bellefontaine Middle School teacher of any crimes following an investigation into allegations of the improper handling of a firearm, prosecutors from the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office report.

Flooding concerns along T.R. 200 to be addressed
