Oasis Drive-thru robbed

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department are searching for a suspect that reportedly robbed Oasis Drive Thru, 406 S. Main St., about 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Attendant Amber Goodrich told police that a black male, dressed in black and wearing a red bandana over his face entered the west end of the drive thru and approached her at the register.

He told Ms. Goodrich she had 10 seconds to put all the money from the cash register into a bag or he would shoot her, police report, and he began counting down. The suspect reportedly told her he had a gun, and had his hand in his pocket, but never showed a firearm.

The attendant placed the cash in a bag and the suspect fled the business westbound. It’s unclear how much money was taken.

The suspect is described as a black male, slender build, about five-feet, seven inches tall. Anyone with information should contact Bellefontaine police, 599-1010.
