The marquee for the Holland Theatre has arrived in Bellefontaine and will be installed at the theater when spring weather arrives, Holland volunteer Phil Alloway said.

Woman claimed after vehicle strikes tree

URBANA — Deputies of the Champaign County Office are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred Wednesday morning on Middle Urbana Road., north of Dallas Road.

Initial investigation has revealed that Champaign County resident Stacey Stoner, 29, was operating a northbound vehicle about 8 a.m. when she drove off the east side of the roadway, overcorrected and drove off the west side of the road, striking a tree.

Mrs. Stoner was pronounced dead at the scene by Champaign County Coroner Josh Richards.

Urbana Fire and EMS also responded to the scene. 

The crash remains under investigation.

Riverside joins insurance consortium

Police chief responds to fountain theft incident

Multiple suspects arrested for attempted shoplifting

Brayden M. Wall, 18, of 2904 Main St., Zanesfield, and Tristin R. Harshfield, 17, of 5713 State Route 287, West Liberty, were each issued a theft summons about 8 p.m. Tuesday after they were caught trying to steal cellular phone accessories from Wal-Mart, 2281 S. Main St.
