Man arrested after breaking into Waterbury area home

Andrew S. Feltner, 26, address at large, was charged with burglary, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia Monday evening following a break-in in the Waterbury area.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to 7873 Park Drive, Waterbury, Russells Point, about 9:05 a.m. in reference to a burglary. Officers of the Washington Township Police Department also responded to the scene.

A neighbor reported seeing a male subject carrying a backpack standing in the garage at the residence and saw lights going on and then off.

When deputies and officers arrived, the suspect was still at the home. Mr. Feltner was taken into custody, and during a search of his backpack, deputies found two hypodermic needles, prescription medication, clothing and other personal items.

He was transported to the Logan County Jail.
