A Plain City man was injured Saturday in a two-car crash at county roads 1 and 47 around 7:45 a.m.
Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report Jeremy Wolfe, 20, was transported from the scene by a Mac-O-Chee Ambulance District squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.
He was westbound on C.R. 47 and drove past a stop sign into the path of a southbound car operated by Ashley Moore, 28, of Bellefontaine..
Neither Ms. Moore nor her two-year-old son were injured, according to the trooper’s report.
Both cars went off the southwest corner into a cornfield. The Wolfe vehicle hit a cable box.
Damage was heavy to the vehicles.
Mr. Wolfe was cited for a stop sign violation.
