Logan County high school juniors and seniors had the opportunity Wednesday morning to delve into the planning for their future careers during the 32nd annual Logan County College Day hosted by Indian Lake High School.
Local guidance counselors working together with the Logan County Educational Service Center coordinated the event to offer students the chance to meet with representatives from about 60 different colleges, universities, technical schools and branches of the U.S. military.
During the event, Bellefontaine High School seniors Mackenzie Yocum and Aubrey Close visited with college admission officials together to gather more information about student activities and financial aid.
Mackenzie said she is looking to attend Otterbein University to study pre-medicine, while Aubrey is interested in possibly pursuing a physical therapy major at Urbana University.
“I wanted to find out more about the sports offered at Urbana,” Aubrey said. “I have visited with their basketball coach there already.”
