Pathfinders memorial ride nears

The Simon Kenton Pathfinders host the Ruth I. Bentley Memorial Ride on Sept. 9, with various routes and distances, departing and ending at the Urbana Depot, 644 Miami St., with a continental breakfast and full lunch, as well as snacks, sports drinks and bottled water.

The Pathfinders will raffle off a three-wheeled recumbent TerraTrike and a hand-stitched bicycle-themed quilt at 1 p.m. the day of the ride.

Registration forms are available at www.simonkentonpathfinders.org or at the Urbana Depot. Preregistration is $20 for adults and $10 per child ages 3-12, or $25 for adults and $15 per child during registration from 8 to 10 a.m. the day of the event. Children under 3 are free.

“Safety green,” short-sleeved tees are available through pre-registration, or specially ordered the day of the ride.
