Five arrested for trafficking heroin in Auglaize Co.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY — Five people were arrested in Auglaize County last week for allegedly selling heroin, according to the sheriff’s office.

A four-month investigation by the Auglaize/Mercer County Grand Lake Drug Task Force led to the arrests, according to a release. The majority of the arrests were Aug. 13, and the last arrest was Aug. 24. One person also was arrested for selling psilocin mushrooms.

More arrests are expected, as additional heroin cases are under investigation, according to the release.

Those arrested included:

• Samuel C. Jacobs, 25, of Wapakoneta, four counts of trafficking in heroin and one count of trafficking in cocaine;

• Adam C. Moorman, 27, of Wapakoneta, four counts of trafficking in heroin and two counts of trafficking in cocaine;

• Christopher A. Dickenson, 27, of Wapakoneta,  five counts of trafficking in heroin;

• Shawn R. Metzger, 25, of Wapakoneta, five counts of trafficking in heroin;

• David A. Hale, 27, of Wapakoneta, two counts of trafficking in heroin; and

• Joseph E. Schosker, 39, of Delphos, one count of trafficking in psilocin mushrooms and one count of possession of psilocin mushrooms.
