Myron D. Payne, 59, and his live-in girlfriend, Randie L. Monk, 45, both of 139 N. Main St., West Mansfield, each was charged with child endangering and disorderly conduct Tuesday following a reported neighbor dispute.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area about 5 p.m.
When deputies arrived and spoke with the parties involved, they found Ms. Monk and Mr. Payne to be heavily intoxicated, to the point deputies feared for the care and safety of her 11-year-old daughter.
Deputies placed the pair under arrest and transported them to the Logan County Jail. Upon entry to the jail, marijuana was found in Mr. Payne’s pants pocket, and he also was charged for possession of marijuana.
The 11-year-old girl was turned over to a family member.
