Cummins takes top honors in local sheep show

New to the born and raised in Logan County sheep competition, Kayla Cummins of Bellefontaine, blew out her competitors Thursday with two of her sheep.

Kayla, an Indian Lake Schools students, took grand champion and reserve honors with a smile.

Kayla has been in 4-H for two years with market lambs.

“This is my first year showing (in the born and raised event),” said Kayla with a smile.

Kayla would walk, feed, water, tend, and play with her sheep in her free time. And, her favorite spot to play on her iPod is next to her sheep.
