Jonathan Burk, 28, of 436 Plumvalley St., Bellefontaine, and Mason Prickett, 21, of 300 1/2 N. Park St., Bellefontaine, each was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident early this morning at the Logan County Fairground, 301 E. Lake Ave.

Deputies working security at the fairground reportedly observed two men, later identified as Mr. Burk and Mr. Prickett, at the Lake Avenue gate about 3 a.m. The men said they were staying at campers at the fairground, and deputies let them proceed to the campers.

However, a short time later, the suspects were observed behind the campers. Mr. Burk then led deputies on a foot pursuit that ended by Main Street.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department also responded to assist deputies with locating Mr. Prickett. He was located by Lake Avenue near Harding Street.

Deputies noted that both defendants were intoxicated, and they reportedly told deputies that they were looking for a party in the area of the campers. They were arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
