Burglar sentenced to prison time

A defendant charged with a January burglary was sentenced to prison this week in Logan County Common Pleas Court.



Adam Queen, 29, of West Mansfield, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for receiving stolen property and having a weapon under disability.

He was charged with burglarizing a residence at 5628 State Route 540 in January. The defendant was later arrested with another suspect in a Kenton hotel room.

A search of the room turned up stolen items, including four firearms.

Others sentenced were:

• Kristina Bates, 31, of Springfield: five years’ community control, and ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs and attorney fees for theft of drugs;

• Kylea Page, 25, of Bellefontaine: three years’ community control and ordered to pay court costs and restitution for theft; and

• Lisle Dildine, 32, of Logan: two years’ community control and ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs and attorney fees for receiving stolen property.

Pleading guilty were:

David Niswonger, 20 of Bellefontaine: conspiracy to commit robbery; Dustin Orsborne, 33 of Bellefontaine: two counts of burglary and one count of receiving stolen property; Charles Colvin, 52, of Bellefontaine: complicity to drug trafficking; and Heather Martindell, 31 of Bellefontaine: passing bad checks and theft.

Presentence investigations were ordered and defendants will be sentenced Aug. 11.
