Monday, the pool was filled with 475,000 gallons of water, a process that was expected to take eight to 10 hours, pool manager Chris Watkins said.
The pool will open for the season at 12:15 p.m. Saturday and will be open weekdays from 12:15 to 8 p.m. and from 12:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday through Aug. 17.
This year, several changes are being planned, including reserving the pool from 4 to 7 p.m. each Saturday for family-only swim time.
