Two measures clearing the way for the city to resolve a six-month-old right-of-way issue were passed by the Bellefontaine City Council on first and final readings Tuesday.
One will authorize city officials to accept two parcels of land from Robinson Investments Ltd., while the other allows for a $50,000 payment to the company.
The parcels are along an undeveloped portion of Henry Street north of Reynolds Avenue. Robinson Investments gained control of the right-of-way several years ago in an agreement with the city.
City officials began eminent domain action to take the property back, but held off as negotiations continued.
