Bellefontaine business customers of CT Communications soon will receive telephone, Internet and television service through NetGain Information Systems, the companies announced this week.
CT currently has 54 business customers in the city. Its residential clients will be transferred to another company in a deal that will be finalized within the week.
Terms of the purchase were not disclosed, and the April 4 deal does not include CT’s West Liberty market.
“We’ve discussed internally our need to focus on our core market of Champaign County and West Liberty,” said CT President Tim Bolander. “Our partnership with NetGain gave us a way to exit the Bellefontaine market and leave clients with a strong, local service provider.”
