2 BMS teams receive Outstanding Resolution Awards at Junior OMUN

Bellefontaine Middle Schools students from Team Kuwait and Team Singapore each received Outstanding Resolution Awards out of the 147 resolutions debated this week during the Junior Ohio Model United Nations competition.

Team Kuwait and Team Singapore received Outstanding Resolution Awards at the Junior Ohio Model United Nations this week. Team-Singapore

Kuwait members include Megan Beaverson, Sierra Bensman, Whitney Clayton, Maddie Jackson, Taryn Mullins, Addie Overholt and Laney Yoder, and Singapore members include Kaitey Chervenak, Julie Downing, Landyn Earick, Dreona Hughes and Issiah Taylor.

A total of 41 BMS students making up six teams competed in the Junior OMUN event, which is a mock United Nations simulation attended by more than 1,000 Ohio students.
