The Holland Theatre celebrated its 83rd birthday Wednesday with cake, tours and a sneak peek of this weekend’s performance of My Sweet Valentine.

“What a wonderful facility to have in our community to support the arts,” Windmill Productions director Nick Wallace said prior to the three-song preview of the show.
“What a transformation from when the Logan County Landmark Preservation Society took over to where it is now. It’s amazing that the lights are on, the stars and clouds are out and the windmills are working.”
The birthday party was a perfect opportunity for Paul and Clara Quay to experience the theater for the first time together.
“It’s my first time ever here,” Mrs. Quay said.
