Couples looking for a romantic way to spend the Saturday following Valentine’s Day have just the event on tap locally, producers of the My Sweet Valentine’s performance say.

“We hope to get people out who want to do something romantic for Valentine’s Day — something local and unique that isn’t just a movie,” co-director Nick Wallace said.
The musical revue takes viewers on a chronological tour of the loves a person experiences over a lifetime.
It begins with a performance by the Grace’s Joy gospel choir from Grace AME Church that celebrates a person’s love of God or a higher power, Mr. Wallace said.
