It’s not an easy job, but somebody’s got to do it.
For more than two decades that’s just how Robbie Snyder approached delivering the Bellefontaine Examiner to subscribers along his Huntsville area motor route.
Mr. Snyder, a paraplegic, recently heard a loud “pop” in one of his shoulders as he was transferring himself from his car to his wheelchair.
Doctors discovered the 49-year-old Indian Lake resident had sustained severe damage to his rotator cuff and had torn a bicep muscle as a result of the incident along with the years of wear-and-tear to his upper body.
With the prospect of several months’ recovery ahead of him, Mr. Snyder decided to give up his long standing delivery route with the newspaper.
