From one-room schoolhouses and World War II to a career in an ever-changing medical field, Doris Zupp has experienced her fair share of landmark moments.

But Tuesday marks yet another milestone as she officially becomes one of a select few group of individuals who can call themselves a “centenarian.”
“I don’t know what to say,” Ms. Zupp said as her family and friends gathered for a 100th birthday celebration at Logan Acres on Saturday afternoon.
