BLMS FLL team wins founder’s award at state tournament

Members of Benjamin Logan Middle School’s Team Mops won the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base’s Founder’s Award this weekend at the “Sport of the Mind” state tournament at the Ervin J. Nutter Center.

This award is given to the team that best honors the mission of the WPAFB Educational Outreach and through community outreach and inspirational spirit, best encourages others to explore math, science, and engineering. The Founder’s Award trophy is a model of the Wright Flyer made completely of Legos.  

Mops members include Nathan Coffield, Ray McCormick, Kayla Null, Jada Orahood, Nolan Rivers and Quinton Woodward.
