Myriah V. Schorr, 35, of Marysville, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and received a citation for failure to control following an incident late Wednesday evening.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded about 11:40 p.m. to a report of a vehicle stuck in the median on U.S. Route 33 near the County Road 5 overpass.
The driver, Ms. Schorr, said she had slammed on her brakes to avoid hitting a vehicle in front of her and then drove off the road and ended up in the median.
Deputies noticed that she displayed signs of intoxication, and administered field sobriety tests to her at the scene. She was transported to the Logan County Jail, where she refused to take a blood alcohol content test.
