Driver, passenger treated after U.S. 33 crash

Margaret Haller, 57, and Gary Haller, 60, both of Lima, each were treated for injuries by Bellefontaine EMS personnel at the scene of a crash about 3:15 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report Ms. Haller was operating an eastbound car on U.S. Route 33 just east of State Route 540 when she lost control and drove off the right side of the road, and the vehicle overturned several times.

Neither Ms. Haller nor her passenger, Mr. Haller, were transported from the scene. She was cited for failure to control.

• No citations were issued in a two-vehicle crash about 12:35 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 33 near County Road 5.

David Frazier, 41, of Belle Center, was operating a westbound pickup when he struck the side of another westbound pickup that had spun out in the roadway. The second vehicle was driven by Anthony Cotterman, 43, of Bellefontaine,

Neither of the drivers reported any injuries, but a passenger in the Cotterman vehicle, Sara Carroll, 32, of Zanesfield, was treated at the scene by Tri-Valley EMS personnel.

• Michelle Bornheim, 28, of Groveport, was cited for failure to control following a non-injury crash about 9:15 a.m. Saturday.

She reportedly was operating an eastbound car on U.S. 33 near East Liberty when she lost control and drove off the left side of the road, striking a guardrail.
